Tagsistant 0.8 has found its way in the SVN trunk. The main goals of this release are:
- Changing tags/ directory semantic for tags management, while transferring its previous role to the new store/ directory. This will solve tags management issues using file managers due to the endless recursive nature of Tagsistant queries (see here for more information).
- Adding triple tags. Tagsistant namespace can quickly reach saturation and become unusable due to its flat nature. On the other hand, triple tags are formed by a context, a predicate (or key) and a value. Introducing triple tags will make the tag list clearer and more usable. Moreover a relation between the key and the value could be specified like in geo/city/not/london/ or time/year/greater/2000/ (the former are just examples and may not reflect the final syntax).
Goal #1 is already implemented in Tagsistant 0.8 since October 20. It's still considered alpha quality and should be used for testing and developing purposes only. But it's here!
